I combine years of coaching experience with hands-on involvement in acquiring, owning and operating established businesses.
I’m Scott Hardiman, a business owner and coach. Alongside running my coaching business, I’m actively involved in acquiring, owning and developing established businesses, particularly in engineering and manufacturing. I’ve spent years helping people build confidence, strengthen their leadership and make decisions with greater clarity. My own experience of business ownership means I also understand the day-to-day realities of managing people, improving systems and dealing with difficult decisions.
That combination shapes how I work. Business decisions are rarely just about numbers, and personal goals don't mean much unless they translate into how you spend your time and run things.
I'm not here to pretend every business has an easy answer. I ask questions, challenge assumptions and help owners find practical ways forward.

Alongside my coaching work, I’m actively involved in acquiring and operating established engineering and manufacturing businesses. That includes working with teams, improving processes, navigating operational challenges and making commercial decisions.
I don’t claim to have every answer. What I bring is a combination of practical ownership experience, years spent coaching people and a willingness to ask the questions that matter.
Because the business is important — but it's not the whole picture.
I've seen how easy it is to become consumed by what needs doing next. I wanted to bring together coaching and real business experience in an approach that starts with the life someone wants, then looks at the business required to support it.
